Since I was a child, I have known that deep love and connection that I have with the outdoors and through living an active lifestyle, I had finally found my outdoor home with the Whitewater Center.  I knew that one day after having one-to-one training with a guru in Hyderabad, India, that I would eventually one day train to be a yoga instructor.  Near the end of over twenty joyous years as an early years and infant, toddler Montessori educator; I began that journey at the start of COVID 19.  Since then, I have completed the 200-hour training with Chakra Flow University at the USNWC, Standup Paddleboard Yoga Instructor training with Longwave Yoga in Wilmington, NC. and the recent 300-hour training with Rolf Gates. Presently, I am teaching SUP Yoga at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, chair yoga for Fit Group USA, and Slow flow, Vinyasa and children’s yoga for I Shine Yoga and Wellness in Lake Norman. I am so grateful and excited to be here with you!

I am graphic designer by trade and a yogini by heart. My yoga journey started a several years ago after I attended my first class with my sister. Due to a minor slipped disc in my lower back, rehabilitation sessions introduced me to a few yoga poses but it wasn’t until I had a full experience that I found my true calling. Since then yoga has become a part of me and I consider the practice a daily ritual. From this I have learned patience, kindness, endurance, spiritual guidance and self confidence. I encourage everyone to find a path that makes you feel happy inside and out. I also hold certifications in Yin Yoga, Reiki Usui System and Stand up Paddle & Yoga. I invite you to practice with me to awaken your spirit, refresh and energise.
