Whitewater uses this platform to communicate opportunities for engagement with natural assets and resources in Francis Marion National Forest, Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, and the broader region.
What activities are available through Whitewater Santee?
Whitewater Santee is meant to provide resources and inspiration for users to engage in recreation in the region. Whitewater offers guide services, tours, and equipment rentals to assist in engagement within the region. Whitewater does not sell access to activities on the Middleburg property other than those available to guests utilizing accommodations.
What is there to do in the Santee River Basin?
The Santee River Basin is comprised of nearly 3,000 square miles within the state of South Carolina that provides numerous opportunities for recreational access. The basin and broader low country region contain world class activities such as flatwater paddling, hiking, backpacking, cycling, trail running, and fishing among many others.
