Francis Marion National Forest – Whitewater Santee

Francis Marion National Forest is comprised of more than 250,000 acres of land defined by swamps,  low country marshes, vast pine forests and numerous bodies of water that comprise much of the Santee River Basin. The forest contains recreational opportunities for campers, fishers, hikers, runners, hunters, equestrians, and cyclists through various trail networks, primitive camping locations, numerous water access points, and seasonal hunting grounds.
